Helichrysum Essential Oil for Acne Scars

Helichrysum Oil is a very versatile essentail oil that can be used to get rid of acne scars. In fact, Helichrysum Oil has remarkable healing properties for scars of all types.

It can be used undiluted on the skin, but only for short periods of time. If you don’t want to risk irritation, you can add 8 to 10 drops of helichrysum oil to 1 oz of a carrier oil such as aloe vera gel.

Apply it twice a day, 6 days a week, until you notice a significant change in your scars. Remember that in natural healing patience is always key.  So stick with it.

Acne Scar Treatment #2:

Rosehip Oil for Acne Scars

Many individuals have found that rosehip oil helps to greatly diminish the scarring of acne.

To use rosehip oil as an acne scar treatment, just simply apply it directly to your acne scars two to three times a day.

Good sources of rosehip oil can be found at your local health food store or online.

Rosehip is the fruit of the rose plant, and rosehips are a very rich source of Vitamin C.  Rosehip oil also has antibacterial properties, and is abundant in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.

Other Essential Oils for Getting Rid of Acne Scars

Other essential oils that have shown the ability to improve acne scars include lavender oil, geranium oil, and myrrh oil.
